At the heart of Sawrey House is a passion for serving quality food and drink and we therefore offer a delicious array of menus & beverages to our guests and non-residents alike. Our chefs provide a range of freshly prepared meals including a variety of traditional British favourites in addition to a selection of innovative and interesting dishes in order to tempt all taste buds.

Breakfast

Starting at breakfast, our delicious continental buffet serves a wide selection including Kellogg cereals, pastries, yoghurts and fruits, served along side our freshly cooked Cumbria breakfast.

Dinner

Our Tea Room is open from 10am til 4pm (Mid February until end of October) serving delicious cakes, scones, teas and coffees. We also offer a selection of sandwiches and a daily chef's soup for those looking for something more filling. Our Tearoom overlooks our gardens and the lake beyond and our terrance seating area is ideal for soaking up the amazing views.

Lunch

We offer a daily changing Table d'hote menu along side our seasonal A La Carte menu. Served in our romantic candle-lit restaurant every evening from 6:30pm.

Bar & Lounge

We have a relaxing lounge with a real log fire and a cosy bar with a wide selection of beverages to choose from as you relax and unwind after your day exploring. What can be better on a cold winters evening to sit in front of a roaring log-fire after a long day of sight-seeing, relaxing with a glass of delicious fine wine, a bottle of Local ale or a classic malt whisky in your hand, before moving in to the restaurant to dine?
