Severe Weather Promise

The Lake District can be one of the most beautiful places during the winter, with snow on the hills and a crisp clean day to blow the cobwebs away, but as highlighted last year it can also be an area that suffers from some severe weather conditions too. So if you are slightly worried about visiting the Lake District this winter due to the chance of snow or floods, then our severe weather promise should set your mind at ease. Should you find yourself stranded at Sawrey House Hotel and unable to get home due to snow or floods, we promise to only charge you £25 per person per day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation until you are able to leave safely. Our promise covers all bookings between November 1st 2011 through til 28th February 2011, so now there's no excuses not to visit us during the winter.
